Warranty, Returns & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all turbochargers purchased from TurboDarbai (https://turbodarbai.lt).
By purchasing from TurboDarbai, the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. 12-Month Limited Warranty
All turbochargers sold by TurboDarbai include a 12-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects or faults directly related to the turbocharger unit under normal operating conditions.
The warranty applies only to the turbocharger itself and does not cover any additional vehicle components, labour costs, installation costs, or consequential damages.
TurboDarbai reserves the right to inspect and evaluate any returned turbocharger before approving any warranty claim.
2. Mandatory Installation Requirements
Turbochargers are precision mechanical components that require correct installation procedures.
The warranty is valid only if the turbocharger has been installed according to professional installation standards.
The following steps are mandatory during installation:
Installation must be performed by a qualified mechanic or professional workshop
Engine oil and oil filter must be replaced before installation
Oil supply and oil return lines must be cleaned or replaced
Air intake system must be inspected and cleaned
Intercooler and intake piping must be cleaned to remove oil residue and debris
The engine must be inspected to ensure there are no underlying mechanical faults
The turbocharger must be properly primed with oil before engine startup
Failure to perform these steps may result in immediate turbocharger damage and will void the warranty.
TurboDarbai may request proof of installation including invoices or documentation from the workshop.
3. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following situations:
Incorrect or improper installation
Lack of lubrication or oil starvation
Oil contamination or poor oil quality
Blocked oil supply or oil return lines
Foreign object damage (FOD)
Engine-related faults affecting turbo operation
Use of incorrect engine oil
Engine tuning, modifications, or performance upgrades
Racing or motorsport use
Improper vehicle maintenance
Turbocharger disassembly or modification
Damage caused by overheating
Damage caused by debris entering the intake or exhaust system
Turbochargers damaged by any of the above conditions are not eligible for warranty replacement or refund.
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
If a customer believes the turbocharger is defective, the following process must be followed:
Contact TurboDarbai with the order number and description of the issue.
Provide photos or diagnostic information if requested.
Return the turbocharger for inspection if required.
TurboDarbai will inspect the returned turbocharger to determine the cause of failure.
If the defect is confirmed to be related to manufacturing or rebuilding, TurboDarbai may:
Repair the turbocharger
Replace the turbocharger with an equivalent unit
Issue a refund or store credit
TurboDarbai reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution after inspection.
5. Returns (14-Day Return Period)
Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving the product under the following conditions:
The turbocharger has not been installed
The turbocharger has not been used
The turbocharger is returned in original condition
The turbocharger is returned with all packaging and included components
Returns must be approved by TurboDarbai before sending the product back.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
6. Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned:
Installed turbochargers
Used turbochargers
Turbochargers damaged due to incorrect installation
Turbochargers missing parts or packaging
Custom or special-order turbochargers
7. Inspection and Warranty Evaluation
All returned turbochargers are subject to technical inspection.
The inspection process may include:
Mechanical inspection
Component analysis
Oil contamination analysis
Installation damage assessment
TurboDarbai reserves the right to reject any warranty claim if evidence shows the turbocharger failure resulted from improper installation, engine issues, or external factors.
8. Refunds
Refunds will only be issued if a returned product meets the return eligibility requirements.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Processing may take 3–7 business days
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed defect.
9. Shipping Responsibility
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the turbocharger is confirmed to be defective.
Customers must ensure that returned products are packaged securely to prevent transport damage.
TurboDarbai is not responsible for items damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging.
10. Limitation of Liability
TurboDarbai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or installation of the turbocharger.
This includes but is not limited to:
Engine damage
Vehicle downtime
Loss of income
Labour or installation costs
Diagnostic costs
Towing or transport expenses
The maximum liability of TurboDarbai shall not exceed the purchase price of the turbocharger.
